Four close friends in their late thirties or early forties are spending a relaxing weekend in a summer house in the south of Portugal: Francisco, the owner of the villa; screenwriter Simão, who is working on a script entitled Sunburn; the romantic Vasco, who has just begun an online relationship with a married man; and the attractive blonde Joana, who has made an agreement with Francisco to bear his child.
