Geometria del Esplendor
2016 · Documentary · min. · Spain
In 1980, Arturo Lanz, Gabriel Riaza and Juan Carlos Sastre, leave Aviador Dro to launch one of the most innovative, risky and transgressive proposals of the Spanish music scene. Taking its name from a poem by the futurist Marinetti, and with noise as a sound criterion, Esplendor Geométrico inaugurates the age of industrial sound in Spain. They destroy the musical syntax at the stroke of cacophonic rhythmic sequences, abstract sound spaces and cyclic hammering that transport the listener to a state of hypnotic trance.
