Making Of (2023) follows Simon, a renowned French filmmaker, as he embarks on his latest cinematic venture, a drama centered around workers battling to safeguard their factory from relocation. However, the production is fraught with challenges. Simon's producer, Viviane, insists on altering the film's conclusion and threatens budget cuts, while his crew stages a walkout. Amidst personal turmoil, Simon also grapples with the egocentric behavior of his lead actor, Alain. Joseph, an aspiring filmmaker working as an extra, steps in to document the behind-the-scenes chaos. Taking his role seriously, Joseph captures the tumultuous events, revealing that the making of a film can often be more captivating than the film itself.
