Summertime Blues: Lemon Popsicle VIII (1988) follows Johnny, who comes up with a plan to revive an abandoned old bar with his pals Benny and Bobby. Securing the necessary funds proves challenging, but fortunately, the landlord's socially awkward daughter Polly has had a longstanding infatuation with Bobby. However, Bobby is uninterested, and Polly is suspicious of their intentions. As the trio works on renovating the bar for its grand reopening, Polly's defenses begin to lower, and it appears that Bobby's feelings might be changing as well. Yet, this emotional journey could lead to unexpected heartbreak for someone involved.
