Reno 911! (TV Series) (2003) follows the chaotic and humorous misadventures of a group of bumbling deputies in a Reno sheriff's department. This mockumentary-style series mimics the format of "Cops" but with a comedic twist. The ensemble cast includes Lt. Jim Dangle, a flamboyant and eccentric supervisor known for his short shorts; Deputy James Garcia, infamous for his aggressive and often brutal policing tactics; Deputy Trudy Wiegel, a manic depressive with a penchant for racist and sociopathic behavior; Deputy Clementine Johnson, a former magician's assistant with a questionable past; Deputy Travis Junior, a redneck who is never seen without his kevlar vest and sunglasses; Deputy S. Jones, a semi-competent ladies' man; and Deputy Raineesha Williams, a confident and assertive black cop with a bold attitude.
