Shoot (1976) follows a group of five combat veterans who, while hunting in the Canadian wilderness, accidentally shoot and kill a hunter. The veterans anticipate a police investigation but are surprised to find that the incident has not been reported. Major Rex (Cliff Robertson), the leader of the group, becomes suspicious that the other party might be planning retaliation. Believing that his team and their families are in danger, he decides to take preemptive action. He rallies more army comrades and amasses a substantial arsenal of weapons, preparing for an impending confrontation.
