After the Sunset (2019) follows the life of Little Towa, who resides with his parents, Satsuki and Yuichi, in a picturesque coastal town on Nagashima. Yuichi works as a fisherman, while Satsuki manages a local restaurant. Unbeknownst to Towa, he was adopted as an infant, having been found abandoned and severely malnourished in an internet café. Behind the scenes, his parents are engaged in a covert battle for his custody, driven by a desire to shield him from his troubled past. As their family's joy starts to wane, Satsuki and Yuichi are not the only ones concerned about Towa's future.
