Summer Snow (1995) centers around the Suns, a quintessential Hong Kong family unit. May, in her forties, is employed at a trading firm, while her spouse, Bing, serves as a junior civil servant. Their teenage offspring, Allen, is currently enrolled in school. The family's tranquility is disrupted when Bing's mother succumbs to a stroke, leaving behind her husband, the elderly Mr. Sun. Following this, a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease is made.
