The Avenging Eagle
1978 · Movie · 86 min. · Hong Kong
Yoh Xi-hung is leader of the Iron Boat Gang which consists of his 13 Eagles. He recruited or kidnapped many children and submitted them to a brutal training, eliminating everyone who did not fill the bill or showed any weakness. Thanks to his intensive training, the remaining 13 Eagles became excellent Martial Artists. Yoh Xi-hung also raised them to be cold-blooded robbers and killers who execute his orders without any contradiction. While carrying out a mission, Chik Ming Sing aka Black Eagle is seriously wounded and barely manages to flee to a forest. A family finds and nurses him back to health, and he falls in love with the paterfamilias’ sister Siu Fung. Although he is now tired of killing, Chik Ming Sing still returns to his gang for the time being.
