The Color of Love: Jacey's Story (TV)
2000 · Movie · 120 min. · United States

Left orphaned by an accident, Jacey is put into the care of her maternal grandmother, a Southern white woman named Georgia (Gena Rowlands) whom she's never met. The introduction comes as quite a shock to Georgia, who didn't know that her son-in-law -- and hence Jacey -- were African American. Getting over her stereotypes and awkwardness proves even more challenging with the arrival of Jacey's paternal grandfather, Lou (Louis Gossett Jr.), who's been granted custody as well. Watch as this new family overcomes their differences for Jacey's sake, resulting in a beautiful and inspiring story.
