Le nerte (S)

The "Nerte" are wandering women who come down from upper Friuli into the Veneto to sell domestic goods fashioned in wood. They lead a humble life, sleeping in barns and eating whatever is available so as to save their meagre earnings. The documentary follows one of these women on her long journey.
