There Will Be No Leave Today (1959) follows the tense narrative of a group of construction workers who stumble upon a hidden stash of World War II bombs in an unidentifiable town. The discovery prompts the immediate deployment of an army unit tasked with the perilous mission of neutralizing the explosives. However, detonating the bombs on-site would result in catastrophic damage to the town. Consequently, the army unit must undertake a hazardous journey, manually transporting the bombs to a secure location, putting their skills and bravery to the ultimate test.
