Bad Living (2023) follows the story of five women who are dedicated to preserving an aging hotel from its inevitable decline. A deep-seated and seemingly irreparable conflict looms over them: they are mothers who struggle to express love towards their daughters, who in turn find it challenging to embrace their maternal roles. The arrival of a young woman named Salomé at the hotel stirs up old wounds and buried emotions. Trapped between bitterness and a desperate quest for escape, Salomé's mother, Piedade, takes a drastic and life-altering decision.
