Rivesaltes (S) (2018) follows the harrowing journey of Jaime, a 50-year-old republican soldier, who, along with his comrades, flees the advancing Francoist troops and seeks refuge in France. However, their hopes for safety are dashed when they are apprehended by the Nazis and sent to a concentration camp. Within the camp, Jaime crosses paths with Krak, a Nazi soldier whose brother is also imprisoned there. In a desperate bid to help Krak find his sibling, Jaime and Krak swap identities. Jaime then begins a perilous mission, freeing five prisoners each night. However, these escapes do not go unnoticed by the Nazi authorities. After a thorough investigation, General Shönk orders Jaime's execution, while another prisoner, Luis, meets his end in the gas chamber.
