In 1963 Eduardo Barreiros, a young mechanic who had forged an industrial empire through his own efforts, formed an alliance with the powerful Chrysler to fulfil his dream: the mythical Dodge Dart Barrieros and the SIMCA 1000 which made his company the sixth most important in Europe. But something went wrong and six years later he announced his irrevocable resignation. What happened? How was it possible for a man who had fought all his life to build the biggest automobile empire in Spain to lose everything?
