Kuiba is the terrifying, world-destroying force that comes into being every 333 years. This cycle cannot be eliminated; and the only respite available to the beings of the universe (gods, humanoids, and demons) is to prevent the hatching of the seed that houses the current reincarnation of Kuiba, thus gaining 333 years of relative peace.
