The Last Big Attraction (1999) follows the journey of 25-year-old Leed VanderWal, portrayed by Hopwood DePree, who yearns for a life that is "Bigger, Better, Faster." Currently, Leed is stuck in a monotonous job as a costumed "Clog Carver" at his family's Dutch-themed tourist attraction, "Windmill Island," which offers little in the way of excitement or advancement. However, everything changes when the charming and affluent summer resident, Chrissy Trutt, played by Christine Elise, arrives in town. Leed's perspective on his seemingly mundane surroundings shifts dramatically, and he begins to learn valuable lessons about the world from the very place he once considered uninspiring.
