El mismo día a la misma hora (S) (2020) is set in Barcelona during the hectic rush hour. Marc, a 35-year-old man, is accompanied by his friend Raúl, who is 37. Despite having experienced a heart attack the previous year and currently undergoing treatment with an experimental medication, Marc is singularly focused on one goal. He has recently encountered a woman named Lucía, and after two unsuccessful attempts, he is resolute in confessing his love for her today at 3:45 PM. Currently, he is en route to her workplace. Raúl, in a playful manner, questions Marc's resolve, convinced that he will once again falter.
