TV Series (2006). 9 Episodes. City Hunters is an animated TV series created by Gastón Gorali and Alberto Stagnaro. It was made in Argentina by Catmandu Branded Entertainment and produced by Encuadre. It premiered on October 23, 2006 jointly for all Latin America on Fox Latin America. The series, consisting of 9 episodes of 11 minutes, mixes traditional animation technology with the latest generation of CGI. Directed by Gustavo Cova, it was supervised by Carlos Baeza (director of The Simpsons) for the first episodes. The scripts were written by a team made up of Esteban Seimandi, Pedro Saborido and Marcelo Birmajer, with the collaboration of Esther Feldman in the last two episodes. City Hunters is an archetype of entertainment through brands. It was co-produced by Unilever for the Axe brand and had a team of experts including Corea for the final animation of the characters, designed by illustrator Milo Manara. Despite the similarity in the name, it should not be confused with the manga and anime City Hunter, as it is a mere coincidence.
