The Devil Queen (1974) unfolds in the vibrant yet dangerous streets of Lapa, Rio de Janeiro, where a notorious drug lord, Rainha Diaba (Milton Gonçalves), is embroiled in a complex web of deceit and survival. As a homosexual drug dealer, Rainha Diaba seeks to shield his lover from imprisonment by framing an innocent individual for drug trafficking involving students. His ruthless gang, led by the formidable Catitu (Nelson Xavier), targets the young pimp Bereco (Stepan Nercessian) as the perfect scapegoat. However, Bereco manages to evade the police and retaliates by raiding the drug points controlled by Rainha Diaba, sparking a violent and bloody conflict against the powerful dealer.
