The action takes place in the late 1970s. Frankie's family is on the verge of breaking apart. His father has never gotten over his time in a concentration camp, and his mother ends up in hospital with cancer. On the streets, however, he makes new friends, who are into the popular skinhead culture. But when Frankie, out of frustration and as an act of wild rebellion, joins the Neo-Nazis, he makes an ill-fated mistake. 'Skin' tells the unusual story about a sensitive young Jew, who through the wrong turns of fate ends up being a Neo-Nazi and burns all his bridges.
