The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit (1968) follows Frederick Bolton as he tackles two significant challenges. His supervisor has tasked him with devising a compelling campaign to promote a new product, a stomach pill called "Aspercel," with a deadline of the next day. Simultaneously, Fred's daughter, Helen, is deeply passionate about horses, taking riding lessons and excelling in competitions. Her ultimate dream is to own a horse, a wish her father cannot fulfill due to financial constraints. Fred ingeniously decides to address both issues by merging them: he plans to use a horse named "Aspercel," ridden by Helen, to garner media attention for the pill and bring joy to his daughter. However, there's a catch: Helen and Aspercel must win several races to make this strategy successful.
