A short film about ants and their everyday activities. The audio of the film is currently lost. In 2019, the Kinoklub Zagreb, a still active film club founded in Croatia in 1928 to promote amateur filmmaking, joined forces with the Austrian Film museum to start the process of restoring the work of its most prolific member: Tatjana Ivančić (1913-1986). Ivancic made around seventy Super 8mm films in just two decades (1960-1980), with a Russian camera that her son had stopped using. With all the freedom that comes with amateur filmmaking, her work had a successful run on the amateur film festival circuit in the former Yugoslavia. Always based on her daily life, Ivancic's work poetically rescues the beauty of nature, of small things, small flashes of light among the mundane. (Gonzalo de Pedro, Documenta Madrid Festival, 2021)
