Between classical mythology and Hollywood hankerings, the film tells the story of a boy repudiated by his own land, his growth and his redemption. Everything begins from a tragedy: in the imaginary town of Kindaor, Sedemondo kills his brother, King Licinio, in order to usurp the throne and satisfy his greed. On carrying out his plan, Sedemondo is warned by an enigmatic old woman he met in the woods, who predicts a reign of misfortunes and troubles the new sovereign will have to face. Worried, the tyrant abandons Licinio's son, Arminio, in the valley of the lions, but instead of killing him, the lions bring him up as one of their own. On growing up, one day Arminio meets young Tundra, the daughter of king betrayed and defeated by Sedemondo, and forms an alliance with her to regain the throne. In the meantime the evil sovereign, inviting some of the most esteemed knights in the kingdom, holds a tournament in which Arminio takes part.
