The Fourth Arm (TV Series) (1983) follows a group of SOE agents tasked with a perilous mission: infiltrating and dismantling a V1 flying bomb facility hidden within an underground bunker in Northern France. Unlikely heroes are plucked from everyday life and thrust into an intense training regimen within the secluded confines of a sprawling countryside estate. Each recruit is assigned a unique code name derived from French bird species, such as 'Hibou' and 'Chardonneret'. Their rigorous preparation includes mastering parachute jumps and executing a trial operation in an authentic French village setting. The question remains: will their exceptional training be enough to transform these ordinary individuals into extraordinary agents capable of mission success?
