Museo (Museum) (2018) follows the story of two veterinary students, portrayed by Gael García Bernal and Leonardo Ortizgris, who find themselves entangled in a daring heist at Mexico City's National Museum of Anthropology in 1985. Inspired by actual events, the film chronicles their meticulously planned scheme to steal 140 invaluable pre-Hispanic artifacts. On a pivotal Christmas Eve, they abandon a family gathering to carry out their ambitious plot, initially achieving remarkable success. However, their triumph is short-lived as they soon face a series of unexpected challenges and complications.
