Here and in Order Time

With a rigorous structure and an imperturbable sobriety, Bande brings to the screen a story that has been hidden for a long time in the Asturian mountains. That of the armed guerrilla fighters, known as maquis or fugaos, who lost their lives in combat and in the resistance. Through a series of portraits that make up a painstaking inventory of each and every one of the dead –with names, dates and circumstances– the film uncovers the underlying, invisible traces of the story in the places where it all happened. And it reaffirms cinema’s capacity to show us the invisible.
