The future prospects are not good for a group of teenagers from the Zona J of Chelas, in Lisbon, children of workers and maids. Tó (Félix Fontoura), black boy and the son of Angolans, falls in love with Carla (Nuria Madruga), a white girl. He dreams of going to live in Angola and she accepts their plans without hesitation. To realize the dream, Tó choose to work in construction, but an unexpected pregnancy of Carle complicates the plans. Laid off, he agrees to participate in a robbery at a jewelry, along with some friends. Everything goes wrong ... Pantera (Milton Spencer), his younger brother is shot. Events are precipitated. Tó and Carla run to the airport but can not be shipped.
