Mads (Thure Lindhardt), who is in his early 30s. He's got a girlfriend, Marie, who he claims isn't really his type, a good house, a nice job, and is planning to have children with his girlfriend. But he is not sure that it's what he really wants. He finds a letter that he wrote to himself at 17, where he asks himself if he's found true love, not just taken the one he could get, but one he really wanted. He decides to take a break from Marie (played by Tuva Novotny) to "find himself" and to find out if he got everything he really wanted and if he was ever truly happy.
