The film is put on the motives of the story of Selma Lagerlef. The naughty boy Nils bewitched by the gnome, flies to Lapland with flight of wild geese. During these dangerous travel he makes many noble affairs, and, simultaneously, searches for the gnome who would remove his charms away.
