A tragicomic love story where money, a coup and dead monkeys cause commotion in daily life. Thomas is a slightly calculating film director from Zurich. Léa is a proud, liberated African woman. Together they form an explosive couple. She feels homesick, he thinks about the rent. She complains about her difficulty of integrating with the Swiss, he has to cope with importing monkey meat in his suitcase. This tragicomedy swings back and forth between laughter and tears at the couple’s deep desire to remain together, in spite of their differences.
