The Princess Who Had Never Laughed (Faerie Tale Theatre Series) (TV)

Sure, there's a lot of perks to being a princess-a nice castle, beautiful clothes, great food--but it's no fun if you can't laugh about it once in a while! Princess Henrietta (Diner's Ellen Barkin) leads a very serious life-studying, studying, and more studying. One day she locks herself in her bedroom and tells her father the King (Head Of The Class/WKRP In Cincinnati's Howard Hesseman) that she won't come out until he finds someone to make her laugh. The King orders a Royal Laugh-off but in a kingdom known for its seriousness, no one can get the Princess to crack a smile. Until "Weinerhead" Waldo (Muppet Babies'/St. Elsewhere's Howie Mandel) and his pet pig Boris arrive and teach the Princess that sometimes truth is the funniest thing of all.
