Goodbye Cruel World (2010) follows the story of Ángel, a dedicated and principled accountant who is unjustly terminated from his job. Facing the daunting task of supporting his family without employment, Ángel makes a drastic decision to abandon his moral compass and aligns himself with a group of low-level criminals. Within this motley crew, he discovers unexpected camaraderie and loyalty, but financial stability remains elusive. Desperate to secure funds, Ángel resorts to an extreme measure: orchestrating the kidnapping of a prized lion from the city zoo and demanding a hefty ransom.
