The story of a romantic obsession that spans several decades. In a small town in the province of Shanxi, the small Tiedan, six years old, falls in love with "sister" May, the beautiful neighbor who practices a traditional form of singing called Er-ren tai. It is the second work of the Chinese director Jie Hao, who competed in the New Directors section of San Sebastian Festival 2010 with his first feature, Single Man.
