Bienvenido Mister Wan-Da (TV) (2017) follows the intriguing tale of a Spanish political maneuver when a enigmatic Chinese businessman, Wan-Da, reveals plans to invest a staggering 2 trillion euros in a European nation. Spanish officials scramble to persuade Wan-Da's team that Spain is the ideal destination for this massive investment. The plot thickens when it is discovered that Wan-Da's son is an ardent admirer of José Mota, a comedian who is currently incarcerated following the botched Operation And the Andarán, which spiraled into a political scandal. In a desperate bid to secure the investment, the secret service enlists Mota to create a New Year's Eve special that will captivate Wan-Da and his son, offering Mota a chance at freedom in return.
