This documentary deals with the mourning over the loss of a loved one and, in this case, with a central role in the family: the figure of the mother/wife. With the presentation of this real case, the plot encourages reflection on issues that affect the universality of people: the reaction to the news of the diagnosis of a serious illness, the patient's attitude, moments of hope, moments of uneasiness, the conciliation of daily life and illness, absence.
