Green Tea (2003) is an urban love story adapted from the short novel "Adiliya by the River" by Jin Renshun. The narrative revolves around Wu Fang (Zhao Wei), a university student pursuing a master's degree, who frequently engages in blind dates with various men. During these encounters, she consistently orders a cup of green tea and shares tales about her close friend Langlang. Wu Fang and Langlang share a unique belief that green tea can predict one's romantic destiny. Chen Ming-liang (Wen Jiang), a seasoned individual, develops feelings for Wu Fang. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Langlang, a bar pianist who bears a striking resemblance to Wu Fang but possesses a completely different personality. This discovery plunges Chen into a state of profound confusion. The story delves into the intricate relationship between Wu Fang and Langlang, leaving Chen to grapple with the question of whom he truly loves.
