‘The Homeless Student’ is the film adaptation of a Japanese best-seller autobiography novel ‘The Homeless Junior High School Strudent’, written by comedian Hiroshi Tamura. After a term closing ceremony, Hiroshi comes up home and finds the yellow tape says “attachment” on the house entrance. ‘Dismissed!’ Hiroshi’s father says unexpected word and dissappears without a trace. Hiroshi suddenly becomes a homeless at fourteen. He starts to spend his nights in public parks and eat cardboard to survive. However, through the homeless life, Hiroshi learns important things as a person.
