The Murdered House (1971) follows a newlywed woman who finds herself in a chilling environment upon arriving at her husband's secluded countryside estate. The oppressive atmosphere of the residence unsettles her, leading her to seek solace in the room of her homosexual son-in-law, who is mysteriously confined and hidden from the world. A devastating event transpires, prompting her abrupt departure. Years later, she returns to the house, now frail and ill, after an absence of seventeen years.
