The River (2021) follows a man and a woman who find themselves in a restaurant nestled within the Lebanese mountains. Their tranquil evening is abruptly disrupted by the ominous sight of fighter planes and the distant echoes of conflict. The man, separated from his companion, embarks on a desperate search, eventually locating her on the opposite side of the mountain. As they venture deeper into the wilderness, the natural surroundings take on an eerie, ethereal quality, mirroring the fragile bond that connects them.
