We all irrationally love that person who is not next to us and who constitutes the unattainable charm of the one we admire. We want to be the other, to be with the other. Sometimes we are content to contemplate him or her from a distance; other times, we seek an encounter. Being a fan always proposes a relationship that by definition is unequal. One loves beforehand. One falls in love with a projection, with something one invents. Soy tu fan is not a story of great loves or unattainable idols, but of real characters that show us how we can become fans of someone who is by our side but to whom, for some mysterious reason, we cannot gain access.
