Cassie, a psychology student, struggles with the trauma of being kidnapped as a child-an experience that left her with a fear of the dark and of being alone. Now, in order to face her fears and finish her thesis, Cassie agrees to work as a fire lookout in a secluded watchtower in the forest. But once she's alone, strange things start happening. Is Cassie's past coming back to haunt her?
