To win a bet, a man who pretends not to know fear looks for the most terrifying place in town (that'll be the traveling show...) and pretends to be able to sleep there the whole night. But these wax figures surrounding him won't certainly let him sleep quietly... This film, which was released in 1918 was a forerunner of Paul Leni's expressionistic work with the same subject matter, Waxworks (1924)
