Victor Frankenstein is training to become a doctor when his younger brother tragically drowns. Unable to understand why God would take away his brother, Frankenstein declares his allegiance with the devil and his determination to bring his sibling back to life. While studying anatomy Frankenstein learns how to preserve dead matter and restore life. He sets out, working with Dr Henry Clerval, to achieve his ultimate goal of creating a human being, but this great discovery comes at a price.
