After crafting signature looks for Elvis, The Beatles and Johnny Cash, Manuel, nicknamed The Rhinestone Rembrandt, is looking to transform his signature couture at the end of his life. The film chronicles how Manuel is forced to move away from his hand-crafted pieces and into manufacturing, an act he thought impossible just a few years ago. And after a career of enjoying the sins and spoils of the fashion lifestyle, he looks to settle down and mend the relationships that have been left in its wake. Through all of this, he searches for an heir to his rhinestone throne, hoping to ensure an artistic legacy for a fashion look that has become more and more niche.
