Kickboxer (1989) follows the journey of Kurt Sloan, who serves as the dedicated corner-man for his brother, Eric Sloan, a top-tier U.S. kickboxing champion. Tragedy strikes when Kurt watches his brother suffer a brutal and malicious defeat at the hands of Thailand's formidable champion, Tong Po, resulting in Eric's paralysis. Driven by a thirst for vengeance, Kurt seeks the guidance of Zion, a skilled kickboxing trainer residing in the secluded landscapes of Thailand. Under Zion's tutelage, Kurt embarks on an intense training regimen, preparing for the ultimate showdown to avenge his brother's fate.
