In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory (TV) (1997) follows the story of Jeff Erickson, a former marine and police officer who finds new purpose in life after meeting his dream girl, Jill, and opening a bookshop together. Their peaceful existence takes a dramatic turn when they embark on a life of crime, inspired by the infamous duo Bonnie and Clyde. As they learn the ropes of their new criminal lifestyle the hard way, Jeff gains notoriety through extensive media coverage. However, his growing power and tendency to intimidate his victims escalate, especially after Jill is hospitalized. FBI agent Tom LaSalle faces significant challenges in tracking down the elusive couple, navigating a complex web of suspects and leads.
