Chilango Chronicles (2009) follows the intertwined journeys of three individuals, each grappling with intense fixations. 'El Jairo,' a young man with schizophrenia, is convinced of the existence of extraterrestrial beings and feels compelled to confront them. Claudia, a woman struggling with her weight, has a deep-seated fascination with pornography, which leads her into various troubles. Lastly, Juvencio, a retired teacher, is deeply concerned about his quadriplegic daughter's future, fearing for her well-being once he and his wife Anita are no longer able to care for her. As the narrative unfolds, the lives of these three characters become inextricably linked, culminating in a shared destiny.
