Shanghai Knights (2003) is set in 1887, where an unlikely duo, Chon Wang (Jackie Chan) and Roy O'Bannon (Owen Wilson), embark on a mission in London. Their objective is to recover the Imperial Seal of China, which was taken by an English nobleman (Aidan Gillen). This lord had murdered Wang's father in his ambition to seize the British crown. Alongside the duo, Wang's agile and captivating sister (Fann Wong) joins the fight, showcasing her formidable martial arts skills. She also finds herself drawn to Roy's playful and carefree demeanor, which often includes modern-day references that are out of place in the Victorian era.
