The film presents the history of the rapid rise and fall of Librado, a jolly rancher tomato producer who travels to the capital looking to sell his product, but who will challenge to the closed economy of supply and demand to realize that market stallholders are subject to a monopoly supplier, a mob of thugs who sell "protection" and market inspectors, already know quintessential corrupt.
